Never really been a fan of their pizza. It’s edible but not the best.

Grato pizza pizza was very good. Other food was a little better than average. The service was very, very good. By the experienced staff, I appreciated it.
Response from the owner:Thank you, Geri! Our Gateway crew has a lot of tenure and it shows - we'll make sure they hear this. Noted on the rest of the menu, too; we'd rather it be more than "better than average," so we'll keep after it. See you at Gateway soon.

Mallory(Cashier) is excellent! I walk into Grotto & she remembers exactly how I order my pizza…just a delight! Izzy is also good as Cashier. Sharon is an amazing waitress who takes care of me when I eat in. She’s one of the hardest workers that I’ve ever known. Hoping that Grotto CEO appreciates these employees.
Response from the owner:Marie, this one made our day. Mallory, Izzy and Sharon are exactly the kind of people we're lucky to have, and you can bet this is getting passed along to them and up the chain. Thanks for the five stars - see you at Gateway soon.

Always great food! And great atmosphere. Sadly I waited for a sandwich for almost an hour and it wasn't even busy .
Response from the owner:Thank you for your kind words about our food and atmosphere, Amanda — that truly means a lot to us! We're sorry to hear about the long wait for your sandwich, especially on a slow day. That's not the experience we want for our guests, and we'll be looking into it with our team. We hope you'll give us another chance to do better — you deserve a great meal and great service every time!

The service is always great. From the greeters to the waitress to the cashier. Even over the phone. When they say how long your order will be ready it's always exact. Good vibes.
